Nutters Chapel Golf & Country Club is a gorgeous 6,195 yard, par 72 course set on 131 acres in Conway, Arkansas. Following it’s tradition of excellence, this Lindsey Country Club offers Championship golf and numerous amenities at an affordable price.

 

The course itself is set on tremendous terrain, with beautiful trees and large lakes. The course is player friendly and has four sets of tees making Nutters Chapel the perfect course for novice golfers and those with low handicaps alike. The golf course is open for public play, however only members have access to the countless amenities that the grounds and clubhouse have to offer.

Hole 1

Par 4

Yardage: 406

 

A wide open dogleg left par 4, and a good starting hole to get your round going.

 

Hole 2

Par 5

Yardage: 477

 

This hole has a tight tee shot through a shoot of towering pine trees. The second shot will be played from a plateau to a green guarded by water on the left side.

 

Hole 3

Par 3

Yardage: 129

 

This hole will be a challenge, the front and right side of the green is tightly guarded by water. The proper play will be to favor the left side of the green.

Par 5

Yardage: 569

 

A long tight par 5 in which a tee shot will be hit to a plateau. Player will have to avoid the creek in the valley on the second shot to make a birdie

 

Hole 5

Par 3

Yardage: 219

 

A great par 3, and a beautiful hole, with a breathtaking backdrop as the green sits into a mountain side.

 

Hole 6

Par 4

Yardage: 394

 

Atop the city of Conway, this hole has a 100 ft. drop from tee to green, much like a ski slope. The first landing area is flat, but a long hitter can catch the down slope and drive the green.

Yardage: 264

 

An admirable par 4. This hole will encourage golfers to go for it. Some eagles will be made on this hole, but double bogeys will too.

 

Hole 8

Par 3

Yardage: 164

 

The eighth hole is a good par 3 over water. The green is fair and does not have a lot of undulation.

Par 5

Yardage: 481

 

A good birdie chance as you finish the front 9. The fairway rolls from tee to green. The third shot has a great view of the clubhouse in the background.

Par 4

Yardage: 319

 

This is an awesome hole, and the first thing you see as you enter the property.  he green is on the ridge surrounded by bunkers.

 

Hole 11

Par 4

Yardage: 281

 

Very tricky hole. The smart play is to hit a 200-yard shot to the top of the hill and then hit the 60-yard lob shot to a small green down the hill.

 

Hole 12

Par 4

Yardage: 375

 

A great hole in which the drive has to be positioned just short of the creek. After that the second shot must be hit over two creeks to a green backed by woods.

 

Hole 13

Par 3

Yardage: 205

 

Through a shoot of trees this green sits on the ridge facing the tee. The green is split level, which adds to the difficulty of the hole.

A dogleg right par 4 through tall pine trees.

 

Hole 15

Par 5

Yardage: 608

 

Another par 5 out of a shoot of trees, with the first landing area being on top of the ridge. The second shot is over the creek to a small undulating green.

Yardage: 158

 

A shorter par 3 down the hill to the green. Nutters Chapel Lake is in the background of this hole. The greens roll from front to back.

The 17th hole travels along Nutters Chapel Lake, with the fairway separated by an 80-yard long bunker. The green is tight against the lake.

 

Hole 18

Par 5

Yardage: 462

 

The finishing hole at Nutters Chapel challenged you with a dogleg right par 5.  The long hitter will be able to cut the corner and bite off some yardage on this hole.  An eagle can be had on the 18th, making this a great finishing hole.
